Chemical Indicator Strips for Air Plasma Sterilization® are used as INTERNAL pack or pouch process indicators to verify exposure to sterilant gases produced by the Air Plasma Sterilization® process. These chemical indicator strips consist of a Tyvek® backing with a chemical indicating ink printed on one side. Since the Tyvek® material is permeable to the sterilant gases, the chemical indicating ink will still change color even if only one side of the strip is exposed to the sterilant gases.
The chemical indicating ink turns from RED to YELLOW when exposed to sterilant gases.
